Background

I am a dedicated scientific researcher with a passion for simplifying complex workflows and communicating scientific content with clarity and precision. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in medical physiology, biochemistry, and scientific editing.

I completed my PhD in Medical Physiology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, with a research focus on the use of natural plant extracts for cardiovascular health in diabetic rat models. Prior to that, I obtained my MSc in Physiology and BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the same institution.

Throughout my academic career, I have received several honors and awards, including the NRF Doctoral Innovation Scholarship and the opportunity to present my research findings at various international conferences.

Expertise

My expertise lies in experimental research, scientific reporting, data analysis, automation, and clear communication. I am proficient in a wide range of technical skills, including in vitro and in vivo models, statistical analysis, and the use of AI tools for process improvement.

Additionally, I have extensive experience in scientific writing and editing, having worked as a freelance scientific editor and associate medical writer for reputable organizations.
